T’ai Chi Chih for Fitness

Here is a great article I wrote about 13 years ago on how T’ai Chi Chih can assist your fitness program.  Many people see fitness as only being external, often forgetting the mindful intrinsic aspects of movement. I created Supreme Ultimate Fitness, which means T’ai Chi (or Yin Yang) Fitness to balance the hard or external with the soft or internal.  The key word here is BALANCE! Check out the T’ai Chi Chih for Fitness.

Stay tuned for more articles to come, including one featured in The Washington Post in Jan 2002

Tai Chi Chih Principles

This is a short video about the Principles of T’ai Chi Chih by originator Justin Stone taken from his instruction DVD. Justin was in his mid 80′s when filming this segment, kind of hard to believe but it’s true.

You will not find a better explanation than this. Pay attention to how he explains that T’ai Chi Chih is not exercise, it’s movement…specifically “Joy Thru Movement”.
